Mongolian Braised Alltech Angus Short Rib

Mongolian Marinade
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 scallion, minced
- 1/2 teaspoons black bean chile sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons peeled and grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
- 1 bunch cilantro leaves and stems, minced
- 1 bunch scallions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
For Alltech Angus Short Rib
- 2 lbs beef short ribs
- 1 red onion, julienned
- 1 recipe Mongolian marinade
- 2 bottles Kentucky Ale
Directions
Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Brush all marinade over short ribs, cover with julienne red onion and Kentucky Ale, cover and braise for 3 hours, or until tender like pot roast. Reduce braising liquid in a medium saucepan till it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon. Serve sauce over short rib.
